Joanna Horobin, MB, ChB

Joanna Horobin, MB, ChB, is an experienced drug developer and biotech executive. She is a director of Liquidia Technologies (LQDA) and serves as Chairman of the Board of privately held iOnctura. Previous biotech roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Idera Pharmaceuticals, Chief Medical Officer of Verastem, and Chief Executive Officer of Syndax Pharmaceuticals. Joanna held several roles of increasing responsibility at global pharmaceutical corporations including Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi) where she spearheaded the launch of the global Oncology business and led a successful joint venture with Chugai. Joanna received her medical degree from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and serves as a Director of the North American Foundation for the University of Manchester (NAFUM).
