What I Came to Build: Sagar Agarwal

When Sagar Agarwal joined Kymera five years ago, the clinical pharmacology playbook for degraders had yet to be written. Moving the science forward meant developing new tools and frameworks, building a team and bringing together expertise across disciplines as the data evolved. 

That challenge is what drew Sagar to Kymera: the opportunity to help pioneer the scientific understanding needed to chart new territory. 

It’s a mindset he also brings to mountaineering. Whether trekking to Everest Base Camp or advancing a new medicine, the route ahead is rarely clear, and progress takes a team. For Sagar, the opportunity to explore what’s possible and create the path forward is what makes the journey worthwhile.
